Eduation: Mrs. King attended Andover High School and graduated in 2002. After that she received her Bachelors Degree in Education and a Bachelors Degree in English from Wichita State University in 2007. She is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in English at Wichita State University.

Family: Mrs. King has been married to her husband Andy since July 2007. They have one dog (a boxer) named Bailey.
